The 33Across office spent most of this week hacking. Between working with teams to come up with a next-level hack and keeping up with our day- to-day responsibilities, here's what caught our attention.

1.  Follow the eyeballs:
It's Outstream's time to shine

engage:BDR's Ted Dhanik wrote a telling article for Ad Exchanger on how outstream video solves the pre-roll deficit and gives publishers the opportunity to monetize premium content.

2. A dirge for flash: Google bans flash on display ads

Flash is officialy dead and Google made it official. It had a good run and now it's time to say goodbye to days of Internet past. 

3.  Don't go chasing waterfalls: Why header bidding is a hot topic

Header bidding allows publishers more opportunities to fill impressions through multiple demand sources, putting the heat on Google's weighted playing field. This issue is not going away anytime soon and exemplifies how programmatic continues to advance.
